The debate between android and apple iOS had been started
when the first Android smartphone was launched. In the start of 21th
Century Apple is having left most of the operating systems far behind. The
operating system which was raised to compete with the Apple iOS was Android
operating system. There were many reasons for Android popularity which are as
follows:
The Android contains a huge number of free apps that are
easily available for download on play store. The Android is a free and open
source operating system by which any developer can develop the Android apps for
Android users. Actually the most famous apps of iOS were transported to
Android.
Android Games
Initially apple introduced the 3d games which were becoming
more popular on Android in an instance. Nowadays there are a large number of
Android HD games available to download for free on Play Store.
Hardware
No doubt the hardware of Apple is outstanding, but Android
has given a tough competition in this field also. HTC has developed some
outclass Smartphone’s running on Android. Samsung and LG have also done a great
work to give a tough competition to Android.
Application Developers
The iOS developers are having a tough a time to give a tough
competition to Android. However, they have developed some decent applications, but the Android apps have no competitor.
Open Source
Android is an open source platform in which any
developer can develop its own apps and can sell them on the Google Play.
